• The recovery of a $5.7 million claim for the City of San Jose for its investment in a defectively built apartment complex. The City of San Jose received $5.25 million after payment of attorneys' fees and expenses.
• The successful defense of a $9 million claim by an investor with a major broker-dealer (and many more claims involving smaller sums of money).
• The successful defense of a claim in the tens of millions of dollars for tortious interference with an exclusive agency agreement to market all of China's paraffin wax.
